Bidding: Bids are raised in minimum increments as follows:  The beginning bid on any lot is $6. Lots from $6 to $49 are raised by at least $2. Lots from $50 to $99 are raised by at least $5. Lots from $100-$499 are raised by at least $10. Lots from $500 on up are raised by at least $25. All bids are entered in whole dollar amounts. Our computer system will automatically calculate the increment and will give the bidder an error message if the bid does not meet the incremental guidelines.

Executive Bidding:  Placing executive (or proxy) bids on the lots you desire is the best way to assure you are the winning bidder. An executive bid is made by determining the highest dollar amount you are willing to spend on that particular lot. The computer system will utilize your executive bid on your behalf ONLY if another bidder raises your initial bid.  Executive bids are kept confidential from all other bidders.

Bidding Deadline:  All 300 lots close at 10:00 p.m. CENTRAL TIME the closing day of the auction.
(Eastern Time = 11:00 p.m., Mountain Time = 9:00 p.m., Pacific Time = 8:00 p.m.)

Bids won must be honored. In the event that an item has been described incorrectly, adjustments will be made. Requests for adjustments must be made within 3 days of receiving the item. Armchair Auctions reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids by any bidder. We also reserve the right to request credit information before or during bidding.

Payment: All sales are for cash, in U.S. funds. We accept personal checks, money orders, Paypal, MC/Visa/Discover/American Express. Payments are due within two weeks of the date on the invoice. Invoices are emailed the day after the closing.

Shipping: Buyers pay shipping and handling including insurance. No packages will be shipped without insurance. We will hold purchases being paid for by personal check for two weeks, unless you have a prior credit history with us. Purchases will carefully packed and shipped Priority First Class Mail Insured. Alternate shipping arrangements can be requested.
